The Delmarva Irish-American Club (DIAC) was founded in 1980 by a group of friends with the vision of celebrating the Feast Day of St. Patrick, the Patron Saint of Ireland, with a Parade much the same as larger cities like New York, Boston and Baltimore.

The DIAC is an all volunteer local charity that is responsible for the Ocean City St. Patrick's Day Parade.  Proceeds from the clubs various endeavors are spent to support other worthy local charities including high school graduation scholarships.

Membership has it's privileges', for annual dues of $12 per year, you will receive invites to our exclusive DIAC events including our annual fall Crab Feast at Assateague Crab house and our springtime event at Shenanigan's Irish Pub.  Other events occur roughly monthly include, a north side picnic, Shorebirds baseball game, Fager's Island Christmas party and more.  See the membership tab for instructions on joining all are welcome.

From humble beginnings, the Ocean City St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Festival has evolved into a citywide and statewide event with supporters of all walks of life wearing green.
